If there’s one thing that we know for sure, it’s that the ambiance created by the combination of food, live music, and libations makes for the perfect recipe for this year’s Opening Night Red Carpet Gala. Kick off your festival experience right at Hotel Boulderado and Rembrandt Yard, living like a celebrity on the red carpet.
From 5:30 to 7:30pm we’ll be celebrating the commencement of the best BIFF yet, with delicious small plates complemented by beers and wines, all of which have been chosen from the best that Boulder has to offer. In between sips of chardonnay, be sure to lend an ear to gypsy jazz sounds exuding from the talented live musicians that will be joining us, Espresso! and the Amelie Trio, both Colorado natives. After welcoming renown visiting filmmakers to Boulder and finishing off one last appetizer, a “second-line” band will lead the way to the Boulder Theater, for the highly anticipated main attraction. Their Finest begins at 8:00pm, a rousing romantic comedy teleporting viewers back to 1940 Britain. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the cherry on top to the perfect evening affair.
